The arrival of Alexis Carrington, with Nicollette Sheridan taking over the role, made famous by Joan Collins in the 80s, gave Dynasty another ratings bump for The CW on Friday night.
On The CW, Dynasty was able to tick up one-tenth yet again, this time from a 0.2 to a 0.3 in the 18-49 demo and 999,000 viewers. The series is doing decent business on Friday nights which could allow it to sneak in a renewal for season 2, especially due to a sweet Netflix deal and international appeal.
On CBS, the return episode of Hawaii Five-O led the Friday night ratings this week with a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 and 7.69 million viewers. MacGyver (0.8, 6.38 million viewers) and Blue Bloods (0.9, 8.34 million viewers) rounded out the night on the network, with both down one-tenth from the ratings of their previous episodes.
On ABC, Once Upon a Time was able to tick back up from a 0.4 to a 0.5 demo rating and 2.08 million viewers this time around, while Agents of SHIELD held steady with another 0.4 demo score and 1.86 million viewers.
On NBC, Taken (0.3, 2.12 million viewers) fell one-tenth for the second week in a row. Also on NBC, Blindspot similarly fell from its previous 0.6 to a 0.5 demo rating and 2.91 million viewers.
