Chris Pratt Eyes Television Return In The Terminal List From Antoine Fuqua

Chris Pratt is plotting a return to television. The former Parks & Recreation star is set to headline and executive produce The Terminal List, a TV series based on Jack Carr’s bestselling novel.

The series comes from Antoine Fuqua and his Fuqua Films banner and writer David GiGilio and is in development at MRC Television through Civic Center Media, MRC’s joint TV venture with UTA. The project is a conspiracy thriller that combines elevated action with deep psychological questions about the cost of pushing our nation’s highest trained operators too far. The series follows Reece (Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Reece returns home with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him.

Chris Pratt actually secured the rights to the book by Jack Carr who is a former Navy SEAL and special ops team leader. Pratt then brought it to Fuqua, who he previously worked with on The Magnificent Seven, which Fuqua directed and in which Pratt starred along with Denzel Washington. Pratt and Fuqua eventually took the project to MRC where the development stage began to take shape.

Despite exploding with a successful movie career in the Jurassic World and Guardians of the Galaxy franchises, Pratt actually got his start in television. The actor was a series regular on The CW’s Everwood and co-starred on NBC’s Parks & Recreation.
