Reel TV Ratings (Thursday) – Supernatural Ticks Up To Become The CW’s Second Highest Rated Show For The Week In The 18-49 Demo

Let’s take a moment to realize that Supernatural has been on for 13 seasons and has spanned two different networks. This realization is what makes its Thursday night ratings performance as the Grey’s Anatomy of The CW continues to justify its existence with impressive numbers for the network.

Supernatural hit a 0.7 in the 18-49 demo and 1.84 million viewers, up a tenth week to week. This showing makes it the second highest rated show on The CW for the week in the key demo, behind the network’s top show, The Flash. Arrow followed with a 0.5 demo rating and 1.28 million viewers, making it steady week to week.

On CBS, The Big Bang Theory (2.6 rating among adults 18-49, 13.24 million viewers) was down a tenth from its early numbers last week (it adjusted up in the finals) but Young Sheldon (2.0, 11.74 million viewers) was off 2 tenths week to week. The rest of their lineup slipped a tenth week to week with Mom (1.4, 8.47 million viewers), Life in Pieces (1.1, 6.41 million viewers) & SWAT (0.9, 6.22 million viewers) rounding out the night.

On ABC it was a night of winter finales for the network with Grey’s Anatomy coming down a tenth to a 1.8 demo rating and 7.51 million viewers. Scandal was up next with a 1.1 demo score and 4.98 million viewers, making it steady week to week. How to Get Away With Murder was also steady with a 0.9 demo rating and 3.72 million viewers.

On FOX, Gotham continues to be steady despite tough competition and managed a 0.9 demo rating and 2.66 million viewers. The Orville rounded out their night with a 0.9 demo score and 3.28 million viewers, dipping a tenth week to week.
