Time After Time Cancelled At ABC

Time has run out for ABC’s Time After Time. The network has cancelled the freshmen series after five low rated episodes.

There are no plans at the present time to air the remaining two episodes. Time After Time has been a poor ratings performer, averaging just 2.2 million weekly viewers and a 0.5 demo rating. The show will be replaced with episodes of the game show Match Game.

Based on the novel by Karl Alexander and the movie, Time After Time delivered a fantastical cat and mouse adventure through time when famed science fiction writer H.G. Wells is transported to modern day Manhattan in pursuit of Jack the Ripper. Once H.G. arrives in New York City, he finds a world he never thought possible and a young woman who captivates him.
