A lot of the networks saw ratings troubles on Monday night and the singing competition series airing opposite each other continue to eat at each other’s audience.
On NBC, The Voice posted a 1.5 rating with 8.42 million viewers, down from the 1.6 and 9 million viewers it had scored last Monday. The Enemy Within capped off the night for NBC, and held steady with a 0.8 demo rating and 4.46 million viewers.
On ABC, It was a down night for American Idol too, as it fell from its previous 1.2 to a new series low 1.1 with 6.21 million viewers. The Fix similarly dropped another tenth to a 0.5 demo score and 3.03 million viewers.
On FOX, 9-1-1 was the night’s only primetime broadcast to actually tick up week-to-week, rising from its last episode’s 1.2 to a 1.3 this week, with 6.08 million viewers. Meanwhile, The Resident posted the same 0.9 demo rating that it did a week ago with 5.14 million viewers.
On CBS, The Neighborhood (1.0, 6.16 million viewers) and Man with a Plan (0.8, 5.34 million viewers) both stayed even, as did the season finale of Magnum P.I. (0.7, 5.45 million viewers). Bull, however, returned from a week off, down one-tenth to a 0.6 demo score and 6.74 million viewers.
On The CW, the midseason premiere of Legends of Tomorrow grabbed a 0.2 demo score and 960,000 viewers, down two tenths from its fall finale’s 0.4 demo rating, but on par with its overall average so far this season.
