Superman is returning to The CW. It has been reported that Tyler Hoechlin will be reprising his role as the Man of Steel for the CW Superhero Crossover Event that is set for December and he’s bringing Lois Lane along with him.
The casting for Lois Lane will begin soon but Supergirl’s executive producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner had this to say about the addition of the character:
“This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”
The crossover begins on December 9 on The Flash and continues on December 10 on Arrow while it caps off on Supergirl on December 11. For this year’s crossover, The Flash and Supergirl will swap time slots. The Flash normally airs on Tuesdays and Supergirl on Sunday. Arrow airs in its regular Monday night slot. It was also revealed that Hoechlin’s Superman will appear in all three episodes. This year’s crossover will also include the first appearance of Batwoman (Ruby Rose).
