The Quad Canceled At BET After Two Seasons

Less than a week after its season two finale, BET has announced that they have canceled The Quad.

The Quad starred Anika Noni Rose as Dr. Eva Fletcher, a newly elected President of the fictional Georgia A&M University. Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Sean Blakemore, and Jasmine Guy also starred. The series premiered February 1, 2017, with a two-hour pilot and was renewed for a second season that debuted January 23 and wrapped March 27.

The series saw a decline in ratings from its first to second season. Season 2 averaged a 0.2 in the adults 18-49 demographic and 553,000 viewers per episode in Live+Same Day according to Nielsen, each metric down around 30% from the first season.
