Reel TV Ratings: (Tuesday) – New Girl Returns Low While Lethal Weapon & The Flash See Losses

New Girl returned for its final season run on FOX and it returned lower from its last airing and the lows continued for Lethal Weapon on the network while The CW saw The Flash declining as well.

On FOX, New Girl’s 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.99 million viewers is a tenth of a point below its previous low. This marks a series low for the show but since this is the final season, its ratings are a non-factor. Lethal Weapon returned from four weeks off with a 0.8 demo rating and 4.06 million viewers, also 0.1 behind its prior low mark. LA to Vegas held steady at a 0.7 demo rating and 2.28 million viewers.

On The CW, The Flash posted a 0.6 demo rating and 1.80 million viewers. Its previous low was 0.7 earlier in the season and makes for a new low for the series. Black Lightning, once again,  matched last week’s 0.5 demo score and 1.56 million viewers.

On ABC, their shows were down across the board but they still led the night. Roseanne stayed on top with a 3.4 demo rating and 13.47 million viewers (down from 3.9 last week). The Middle (1.9, 7.48 million viewers) fell 0.3, Black-ish (1.4, 5.10 million viewers) came down 0.1, and Splitting Up Together (1.2, 4.20 million viewers) and For the People (0.6, 2.72 million viewers) each dropped two tenths vs. last week.

On NBC, Rise (0.8, 4.53 million viewers) & Chicago Med (1.1, 6.44 million viewers) held steady week to week.
