CBS got a little bit of a Super Bowl bump for some of its shows that ran promos during the big game. The Neighborhood, in particular, benefited from the promotional push.
On CBS, The Neighborhood, which was featured in a couple of Super Bowl promos, returned from two weeks off with a 1.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic, the best mark of its rookie season. Its total audience of 7.53 million viewers was its second largest of the season, behind only the series debut. Man With a Plan opened its third season with a 1.1 demo score and 6.17 million viewers, up 0.1 from last season’s debut and 0.2 better than the finale of Happy Together on January 14. Celebrity Big Brother also drew a 1.1 demo rating and 4.15 million viewers while Bull was up slightly at a 0.8 demo score and 6.34 million viewers.
On ABC, it was The Bachelor that won the night in adults 18-49 with the same 1.8 it had scored last Monday and 6.18 million viewers. The Good Doctor rounded out the night for ABC and won its 10 PM hour, but fell a tenth to a 1.0 demo rating and 5.92 million viewers.
On NBC, America’s Got Talent: The Champions (1.6) fell two-tenths week-to-week – coming second in the demo – but was the night’s most-watched show with an average of 9.79 million viewers. Manifest capped off NBC’s night, down from its previous 1.0 to a 0.9 demo score and 5.26 million viewers, tying its season low.
On FOX, The Resident managed to tick back up from a 0.9 to a 1.0 demo score and 5.42 million viewers, while The Passage maintained a 0.9 demo rating and 3.80 million viewers for its second week in a row.
On The CW, Arrow (0.4, 1.07 million viewers) and Black Lightning (0.3, 950,000 viewers) matched their previous episodes.
