One of Amazon’s biggest shows is adding quite the star to its lineup. Sterling K. Brown is joining The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as a recurring cast member. The actor announced the news via an Instagram video, crediting creator and Executive Producer Amy Sherman-Palladino and Executive Producer Daniel Palladino with writing a new role for him.
Chrissy Metz, Brown’s This Is Us co-star, responded on Instagram, “Ooooooohhh yesssss!”
Brosnahan and Brown have made no secret of their hopes to work together on the series. In January, the Maisel star crashed a red carpet interview at the SAG Awards in which Brown was being interviewed by Entertainment Tonight to say how much she wanted him on the series
Her wish has come true as the Emmy-winning Amazon Prime Video series is currently in production on its third season.
