Shiva Baby Re-teaming For Bottoms With Orion Pictures

Oh, this news is great to see!

As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Emma Seligman, and Rachel Sennott, the creative team behind Shiva Baby, has set their next feature.

Seligman and Sennott will co-write high school sex comedy Bottoms for MGM’s Orion Pictures, with Seligman directing and Sennott starring.

Bottoms follow

“two unpopular queer girls who start a fight club to have sex before their high school graduation.”

Along with that, Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman’s Brownstone Productions is set to produce the film. Brownstone Productions currently has a features slate that includes Universal projects Cocaine Bear and Invisible Woman, with Banks attached to direct both, and a feature adaptation of The Magic School Bus, where Banks set to star as Ms. Frizzle.
