If you watched the season 2 premiere of Westworld on HBO last night, you were treated to a teaser trailer for their new limited series, Sharp Objects, and from the looks of the teaser, HBO may have another hit on their hands
The series is based on Gillian Flynn’s novel of the same name & stars Amy Adams as Camille Preaker, a journalist who returns to her hometown to cover the murders of two preteen girls only to find herself identifying with the young victims too closely.
The series will get an eight-episode run and is directed by Jean-Marc Vallee, who also helmed HBO’s Big Little Lies. Patricia Clarkson, Chris Messina, Eliza Scanlen, Elizabeth Perkins, & Matt Craven co-star
Sharp Objects premieres in July.
