It was a good news night for a few TV shows last night. Station 19, which premiered soft last week for ABC, ticked up and the much-hyped Supernatural/Scooby-Doo crossover episode also saw gains for The CW.
On ABC, Station 19 posted a 1.2 rating among adults 18-49 and 5.83 million viewers, up from 1.1 for last week’s two-hour premiere. (It was at 1.2 for its first hour). So either way you look at it, the show was steady with its first hour and ticked up overall for the two-hour premiere. Suddenly the Grey’s spinoff is in a much better place than last week. Grey’s Anatomy (1.7, 6.99 million viewers) was off two-tenths of a point, and Scandal fell three tenths to a 0.8 demo rating and 3.76 million viewers.
On The CW, Supernatural returned from two weeks off at a 0.7 demo rating and 2 million viewers, its best mark since mid-November and tying its season high. Arrow was steady with a 0.4 demo rating and 1.14 million viewers.
On NBC, it was a bit of a rough night for all of their shows. Superstore (0.8, 2.84 million viewers), AP Bio (0.6, 2.10 million viewers), Will & Grace (0.9, 3.73 million viewers) and Champions (0.5, 1.92 million viewers) all hit or tied season lows. Chicago Fire also tied its season low at a 0.9 demo rating and 5.26 million viewers.
On CBS, The Big Bang Theory (2.4, 12.94 million viewers) and Life in Pieces (1.0, 6.20 million viewers) fell two tenths, and Young Sheldon (2.0, 11.69 million viewers) and Mom (1.4, 8.66 million viewers) lost a tenth apiece. SWAT held steady at a 0.9 demo rating and 5.34 million viewers.
