We have a show in its 14th season slaying all the competition on Thursday night. Grey’s Anatomy continues to prove why it’s still going strong and that it has no intentions of slowing down.
Grey’s scored a 2.2 rating among adults 18-49 and 8.51 million viewers, nearly a point better than anything else in primetime, and matched last week’s fast nationals ratings (it adjusted up in the finals). The show pulled in its biggest total audience in a year as well. Scandal (1.3, 5.20 million viewers) and How to Get Away with Murder (1.0, 3.54 million viewers) were also even with last week on ABC.
NBC’s Superstore (1.2, 4.22 million viewers) tied its second-best rating of the season, rising 0.2 vs. a week ago. The Good Place (1.1, 3.61 million viewers) and Chicago Fire (1.1, 6.03 million viewers) each ticked up a tenth. Great News finished its season with a 0.5 demo rating and 2.19 million viewers, down 0.2 from last week. This could very well be a series finale for the low rated comedy series but the network does love it so only time will tell about its final fate.
On The CW, Arrow slipped a tenth of a point to a 0.4 demo rating and 1.39 million viewers while Supernatural held steady at a 0.6 demo rating and 1.95 million viewers.
