Reel TV Ratings: (Monday) – Good Girls Has Decent Debut On NBC

A lot of network favorites returned last night after taking a break during the Olympics but NBC was the one that truly continued its winning streak with strong showing a from The Voice & the premiere of Good Girls.

The Voice topped its fall premiere with a 2.7 demo rating & 12.22 million viewers. It was up 0.1 from its fall debut. The series premiere of Good Girls followed with a 1.5 demo rating & 5.98 million viewers. It was 0.2 better than The Brave in the fall and it topped the hour.

On ABC, The Good Doctor took a hit with a 1.3 demo rating & 7.78 million viewers. It was off two tenths & was a series low but still a decent showing for the hour.

Both CBS & FOX were down from their last pre-Olympics nights of original programing. The series premiere of Living Biblically on CBS hit a modest 0.8 demo rating & 5 million viewers. This is in line with the average of 9JKL was getting in that time slot. Kevin Can Wait (1.0, -0.2, 6.05 million viewers), Man With a Plan (1.0, -0.1, 5.86 million viewers) & Superior Donuts (0.9, -0.1, 5.13 million viewers) all took a dip but Scorpion (0.8, 5 million viewers) was steady.

On FOX, Lucifer fell two tenths from its last episode with a 0.8 demo rating & 3.20 million viewers. Closing out their night was The Resident which fell three tenths to a 0.8 demo rating & 3.85 million viewers.

On The CW, the season premiere of iZombie hit a 0.3 demo score & 1.01 million viewers. This is in line with its average last season but down a tenth from its 2017 premiere. Legends of Tomorrow began their night on a steady note with a 0.4 demo rating & 1.52 million viewers.
