Reel Top 10: Horror Remakes

In 2016 the word remake is something most fans of film dislike hearing but are all too aware of the constant lack of originality in Hollywood. Whether on TV or in film, remakes have taken over and at times they butcher classics. However, on certain occasions, remakes have done a fine job honoring the source material and creating their own legacy.

Just in time for Halloween, this week’s Reel Top 10 will focus on the top 10 horror remakes. These remakes were not only a treat to watch but some may even be better than their predecessor, a rarity in remake.
