Paramount Sets Release Dates For Next Two Mission: Impossible Movies

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to save the date for the next two Mission: Impossible movies. Paramount Pictures has set release dates for the upcoming sequels.

The seventh installment is set for a July 23, 2021 release date while the eighth is set for a release on August 5, 2022. The seventh film is currently facing off against Paramount’s very own Dungeons & Dragons, which will likely move, & the eighth installment currently has no dated competition.

Writer/director Christopher McQuarrie signed a new deal with Paramount to return to write & direct the next two installments, turning down other studio offers to continue his long-running partnership with franchise star Tom Cruise, who is also slated to return for the next two films.
