On the Auction Block: Michael Keaton’s Batsuit and Christopher Reeve’s Superman Suit

Fans of the original Superman and Batman ‘89 now have a chance of adding the original suits of both Batman and Superman to their personal collection as they are both up for auction by Nate D. Sanders Auctions.

The suit from 1978’s Superman is the light blue tunic worn by the late great Christopher Reeve in the first Superman film. Reeves wore this specific costume during the film’s flying scenes. The Superman costume begins bidding at $40,000.

The Batsuit up for grabs was worn throughout the 1989 Batman film by Michael Keaton.  The suit comes mounted on a stand and is just over six feet tall. Keaton’s Batsuit begins at $35,000.

The auction for both pieces will end Jan. 26.
