NBC still has reason to celebrate with the success of Manifest which shared bragging rights with Fox’s 9-1-1 as the top scripted show of Monday night.
On NBC, The Voice posted a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49 and 9.85 million viewers, the best mark of the night on the broadcast networks and even with its performance a week ago. Manifest followed with a 1.5 demo rating and 7.53 million viewers, off a tick versus last week, but is currently up slightly in total viewers.
On Fox, 9-1-1 (1.5, 6.16 million viewers) tied with Manifest as the night’s top scripted show, improving a tenth of a point week to week. It also grew in viewers (6.16 million versus 5.92 million). The Resident was steady as a rock at a 1.0 demo score and 4.79 million viewers. The combined effort of both shows allowed Fox to finish second behind NBC in the 18-49 demo average.
On The CW, Arrow opened its seventh season on with a 0.4 demo rating and 1.42 million viewers, on par with its 2017-18 average and with last season’s finale. It was, however, down 0.2 from its fall 2017 premiere.
On CBS, The Neighborhood (1.1, 6.41 million viewers) and Happy Together (0.9, 4.76 million viewers) both matched their week-ago ratings in the 18-49 demo. Magnum P.I. (0.8, 5.42 million viewers) and Bull (0.7, 6.34 million viewers) are currently off a tenth of a point each.
On ABC, there was a preemption in Milwaukee for Monday Night Football, so its ratings are subject to change. Dancing With the Stars currently sits at a 1.0 demo score and 7.12 million viewers and The Good Doctor at a 1.1 demo rating and 6.97 million viewers.
