Doctor Who alum Karen Gillan has joined the cast of Sony’s Jumanji sequel. Directed by Jake Kasdan, Jumanji stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Nick Jonas. Principal photography is set to begin next month in Honolulu.
According to Deadline, Gillan beat out many possible candidates in a months-long search for her role of Martha. She worked well with the cast and won the role.
