Another day, another release date change. This time around, Jurassic World: Dominion has shifted its release date to Summer 2022; June 10, 2022, to be exact. The new release date is featured on the film’s new poster.
Jurassic World: Dominion stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Mamoudou Athie, DeWanda Wise, Dichen Lachman, Scott Haze, Campbell Scott and returning from the original trilogy are Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern.
The callbacks to the original trilogy are the most exciting as an aspect of the new film as Colin Trevorrow has gone on record stating that they won’t just be making cameos. Trevorrow stated,
“I think people may be underestimating the size and importance of Laura Dern and Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum’s characters in this movie; it is very much an ensemble. That element – the ability to take these beloved characters from almost 30 years now and understand how they interact with each other in the context of a world we’ve really never seen before and not been able to witness until now is very exciting for me.”
