In what seems like the most obvious union of actor & franchise, John Cena has officially been confirmed for Fast & Furious 9.

Vin Diesel teased about John Cena’s casting in the ninth installment of Fast & Furious back in April on Instagram, and Universal officially confirmed the news on Friday.

John Cena’s role is being kept a secret with the only description being that he’s a “badass.” Seems about right for John Cena.

Production starts later this month on the film for a May 22, 2020 release.
