At a global fan event celebrating the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, it was confirmed to fans that there will be 5 Fantastic Beasts films. The film was already set to receive two additional sequels, scheduled for November 16, 2018 and November 20, 2020. When asked if she would be writing all the films, Rowling responded on Twitter.
