This weekend, Lyft will be giving free rides to Ghostbusters fans in the iconic Ecto-1 in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and San Francisco. Starting Friday, July 1 at 10 a.m. and ending Saturday, July 2 at 8 p.m., catch a free ride by selecting the “Ghost Mode” on the Lyft app and a driver will pick you up.
Sony Pictures president of theatrical marketing Dwight Caines said in a statement:
“In this amazing collaboration with Lyft, moviegoers all across the country will be able to experience that feeling of being a Ghostbuster. No matter the destination, Lyft riders using Ghost Mode will be arriving in style.”
Along with cruising in the ghost-busting vehicle, passengers have a chance to bring home some cool prizes, from Hi-C Ecto Coolers to Ghostbusters-themed Twinkies. Two lucky riders will also be selected to attend the Ghostbusters world premiere in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 9.
