I, Tonya Director in Early Talks To Direct Cruella de Vil For Disney

Disney does not seem like it will be abandoning their live adaptions of their animated films any time soon. While the upcoming Cruella De Vil film is more reminiscent to Maleficent than a full adaptation of 101 Dalmations, the film is still sure to be anticipated upon its release.

The film may have found their director as Craig Gillespie, who last directed the critical and commercial darling  I, Tonya, is in early talks to take on Cruella.

Emma Stone will play infamous villain Cruella De Vil in what is being billed as an origin story, set in the early 1980s with a punk rock vibe.
