Golden Globe Awards Grows In Viewers Over Previous Two Years

While viewership forĀ  recent award shows has declined, The 74th edition of the ceremony saw some decent numbers last night.

The telecast was by far the big winner on Sunday night with 20 million viewers and a 5.6 18-49 demo rating. This is an improvement of the last two outings which saw 18.5 million viewers last year and 19.3 million the year before. Helping matters was the NFC wildcard game between the Giants and the Packers ended around the time the Globes began so it didn’t face much competition on that front.
