After premiering a teaser on July 27, Amazon has released the official trailer for their new series Carnival Row and it introduces visually striking fantasy that is bound to intrigue viewers.
On the series, Europe’s magical and mythical populations have been scattered as their homelands and hidden nations were destroyed by the invading empires of man. The displaced include faeries & fauns and they are now hemmed in within the streets of the Carnival Row district of London.
Amazon is putting a lot behind Carnival Row. The series had a big push at San Diego Comic-Con with an interactive installation and viewing party of the pilot. The streamer also showed strong faith in the series by renewing it for a second season well ahead of its series premiere on August 30. The show will be released in more than 200 countries and territories when it makes its digital debut
The series, which stars Orlando Bloom & Cara Delevingne, will launch on Amazon Prime Video on August 30.
