Fox Adds Two Workplace Comedy Pilots

Fox on Monday greenlit new pilots titled, Type A and L.A. to Vegas, produced by studio counterpart 20th Century Fox Television.

Type A will reunite Life in Pieces combo Lesley Wake Webster, who will write the script, and Jason Winer, set to direct. The project is based on Aaron James’ book Assholes: A Theory and is described as an office comedy about a group of consultants hand-picked to do the dirty work most professionals can’t handle like layoffs and downsizing, generally delivering horrible news.

L.A. to Vegas is an ensemble workplace comedy about a group of employees trying to find their place in the world set on a Friday night flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and their return flight on Sunday.
