As we are into the first 100 days of Donald Trump’s President of the United States, HBO has already commissioned a cinematic treatment of last year’s controversial election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. The upcoming series will chronicle the events of the election similar to 2012’s Game Change.
The upcoming project will be directed by Jay Roach and based on source material from Mark Halperin and John Heilemann. The duo’s book about Trump’s 2016 upset over Hillary Clinton is set to be published by Penguin Press.
