Welp, for anyone that expected Grey’s Anatomy to be coming to an end soon, you may want to rethink those expectations. ABC has just announced the medical drama will continue with its season 19 renewal. Along with the renewal comes news that Ellen Pompeo, has also signed a new one-year deal to continue as the show’s title character.
Deadline has reported that included in Pompeo’s new deal is also a promotion as producer. The actress was a co-executive producer on the show but she has now been upped to an executive producer for season 19
