El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (Official Trailer)

After the release of two teaser trailers, Netflix has finally released the full trailer for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie & it’s bound to get fans excited to revisit Breaking Bad once again.

Written and directed by series creator Vince Gilligan, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is described as follows: “In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.”

The film sees the return of Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman, the character that won him multiple Emmy Awards. Years after the finale of Breaking Bad, Jesse is somehow in an even more difficult spot, and El Camino tracks his return to “normal life,” if there is such a thing for him any more. There’d be no story to tell if that’s the case so expect Jesse to be thrown right back into the world of crime.

Gilligan also confirmed that at least 10 characters from Breaking Bad would appear in the film, including Skinny Pete (Charles Baker) and Badger Mayew (Matt Jones). Beyond this, a lot is being kept a secret & it definitely has fans anticipating film even more.

The Emmy Award-winning series aired on AMC before seasons were later made available on Netflix. Vince Gilligan credited the streamer for its contribution to the show’s success in his 2013 Emmy acceptance speech, saying that he thinks Netflix helped keep the show on the air.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie arrives on Netflix and in select theaters on October 11th.
