‘The Disappointments Room’ Lives Up to Its Name

It looks like no one saw those last minute TV spots for The Disappointments Room that aired mere weeks before its release. The film missed the top ten entirely and opened at number 17 with $1.4 million.

This is the first release from Relatively Media since coming out of bankruptcy protection and they have a few more releases on the way after going through delays due to their financial situation. If this is how things are starting, it does not bode well for the rest of their release slate.

The film, which stars Kate Beckinsale, has a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes (only seven reviews counted) and scored an impressively bad D Cinemascore.
