After months of wondering whether or not Martin Scorsese’s Silence would be released in 2016, we not only have a release month but a trailer. Set in the seventeenth century, it follows two young Portuguese Jesuit priests (Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver) who face violence and persecution when they travel to Japan to locate their mentor (Liam Neeson) and propagate Christianity.
