Anne Hathaway Offered Lead Role in Sesame Street Movie

Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway may be heading to a very popular street. Hathaway may be on the verge of starring in a Sesame Street feature.

Hathaway has been labeled as  the first choice for the project and has an offer. While it is unclear if the Oscar winner will accept the role,  Sesame Street would reteam her with Warner Bros., the studio that was behind this summers Ocean’s 8, which she starred in.

The film will include appearances from Sesame Street iconic characters Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster and is said to be a musical.
