A trailer has been released for Patriots Day, the upcoming film about the Boston Marathon boombings. The film stars Mark Wahlberg as a composite character based on several real people involved in the response to the bombings. Many scenes were shot at this year’s Boston Marathon. It also stars J.K. Simmons, Kevin Bacon, and John Goodman and will hit theaters in Boston, New York and Los Angeles on December 21st, followed by nationwide on January 13th.
