The COVID-19 pandemic has left cinephiles longing for the days of new releases. While many of the anticipated films of 2020 have been pushed back, the final 4 months will still provide an array of films for cinephiles to enjoy. One of those films comes from Academy Award nominee Denis Villeneuve; who is bringing Dune to the big screen. On Wednesday, fans of the novel and director were treated to the first trailer to the film which is absolutely breathtaking.
This is the second attempt at bringing Dune to the big screen as David Lynch attempted and failed to adapt the 1965 Frank Herbert novel. Dune hits theaters on December 18th, 2020.
