Cobra Kai Becomes Netflix’s Most Popular Show

While I’ve been a fan of the series since its premiere in 2018 on YouTube Red, fans of The Karate Kid are now experiencing Cobra Kai as it premiered on Netflix on Friday and the numbers show. The first two seasons of Cobra Kai has pulled ahead of Lucifer to become Netflix’s most popular TV show.

What has helped the series has been marketing and promotion by the streamer. Netflix has done a great job promoting the arrival of the series with teasers on their social media and articles regarding the show’s release. The show’s fanbase and critical acclaim also aids the success as Cobra Kai is critically acclaimed with a current Rotten Tomatoes score of 100%.

New episodes of Cobra Kai returns in 2021 on Netflix.
