Cardi B, Keke Palmer, Julia Stiles & Lili Reinhart Join Jennifer Lopez & Constance Wu In Stripper Flick, Hustlers

The cast for the STK film, Hustlers, has just gotten a whole lot more interesting. It has been announced that Cardi B, Keke Palmer, Julia Stiles & Lili Reinhart will be joining Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu in the film inspired by a 2016 New York Magazine article. Oscar-winner Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King) is also joining the project while Mette Towley (Cats) and Trace Lysette (Transparent) are in negotiations to join the film.

Hustlers follows a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients. The film is written and directed by Lorene Scafaria who is best known for The Meddler.

The film marks the feature debut of Grammy winner Cardi B, who has previously discussed working as a stripper before becoming a rapper. Cardi B also collaborated with Jennifer Lopez last year on song Dinero.

Keke Palmer was on two seasons of Scream Queens and has also had guest stints on Fox’s Star and is a part of the cast of the not yet released third season of MTV’s Scream. Lili Reinhart is also a television personality who is best known for playing Betty Cooper on The CW’s Riverdale.

Julia Stiles is best known for her roles in 10 Things I Hate About You, Save The Last Dance, Silver Linings Playbook and the Bourne series. The actress is currently on the critically acclaimed series Riviera.

Shooting will begin on March 22, 2019, in NYC. STXfilms is producing alongside Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina, who previously collaborated with STX on 2018 rom-com Second Act, as well as Adam McKay, Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum for Gloria Sanchez Productions.
