It was already announced that BH90210 won its timeslot last Wednesday in the key demo but due to multiplatform viewing and L+3, the series debut soared even higher.
The meta-reboot Fox series added 2.3 million viewers in time-shited viewing, bringing its Live+3 total to 6.1 million multiplatform viewers. It also drew a 2.1/11 among 18-49, which marked the biggest demo launch for a summer series since 2017.
Fox has more reason to boast because BH90210’s L+3 demo numbers were 50% better than this summer’s next-best series launches — NBC’s Bring the Funny and Songland (1.4). It also marked Fox’s most-streamed premiere ever.
BH90210 is a reboot of sorts that has some of the original cast members playing heightened versions of themselves as they work getting a reboot of Beverly Hills, 90210 off the ground. Returning for the reboot are Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling.
