The final trailer for Aquaman has been released and it sees Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry facing his destiny to become the King of Atlantis.
Though it’s set after the events of Justice League, Aquaman will also be an origin story – exploring Arthur’s early life as the child of the Atlantean Queen Atlanna (Nicole Kidman) and a mortal man (Temuera Morrison). After a life spent estranged from Atlantis, Arthur is called upon to protect his underwater home when his brother, Orm (Patrick Wilson) threatens to orchestrate a war between the people of the land and the people of the sea.
The release of the final trailer also coincides with tickets going on sale today for the film and with the special announcement that Amazon Prime users will have a chance to see the film 5 days early.
