American Idol Hits All-Time Series Low Against The Voice On Monday

It was the battle of the singing competition shows on Monday and while both saw some dips, ABC’s American Idol took the biggest hit of the two and saw a series low in the process.

On ABC, American Idol hit a 1.2 demo rating and 6.05 million viewers. The demo was an all-time series low on either ABC or Fox, and the total-viewer count was the smallest on ABC. The competition show was followed by the series premiere of The Fix which came in very soft with a 0.7 demo rating and 4.40 million viewers.

On NBC, The Voice led primetime with a 1.7 rating among adults 18-49 (down from 2.0 a week ago) and 9.73 million viewers (down from 10.54 million). The Enemy Within followed with a 0.8 demo rating and 4.34 million viewers.

On FOX, 911 was the night’s top scripted show with a 1.2 in adults 18-49 (which nonetheless ties a season-low) and 5.96 million viewers. The Resident matched the 0.9 demo rating and 5.15 million viewers for its last episode.

On The CW, Arrow (0.3, 1 million viewers) and the season finale of Black Lightning (0.2, 850,000 viewers) were both even with last week.

On CBS, only Man With A Plan and Bull aired original episodes with the former hitting a 0.9 demo rating and 5.09 million viewers while the latter scored a 0.7 demo rating and 6.41 million viewers.
