Aladdin Cast Alan Tudyk to Voice Iago

With the release of a new Aladdin trailer on Tuesday, Disney has revealed the actor who is voicing Iago, tin Disney’s live-action film Aladdin. The role will be played by Alan Tudyk

While there have been a multiple trailers released thus far for the film, and Iago has been shown flying around, he has yet to speak.

Tudyk has previously played characters in Disney films, including Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), in which he played the droid K-2SO. Tudyk all starred in  Wreck-It Ralph (2012), voicing King Candy and 2016’s Moana as Heihei.

Guy Ritchie is directing the live-action take on the original animated musical, which earned more than $504 million globally.

Disney has multiple live-action remakes coming out in 2019, including Tim Burton’s Dumbo (March 28) and Jon Favreau’s The Lion King (July 19).
