Zack Snyder’s Justice League Second To Wonder Woman 1984 In HBO Max Streams

I guess the SnyderCut hashtag wasn’t as strong for actual viewing numbers as it was convincing studio execs to release the film. As first reported by Deadline & Samba TV, Zack Snyder’s Justice League pulled in 1.8 million HBO Max households in its first five minutes on the streamer over its premiere weekend. What does that actually mean?

The figure puts it second behind Wonder Woman 1984 which drew 2.2 million U.S. households during the weekend of December 25-27.

In the Deadline report, their insiders indicate that Zack Snyder’s Justice League did huge numbers over the weekend on the streamer but the figures still have it coming in behind Wonder Woman 1984.  This is sure going to stir some discussion in the Film Twitter Snyderverse where I’m sure the discourse will involve “manipulating numbers” but as Jay-Z once said, “men lie, women lie, the numbers don’t”
