Your binge obsession is about to return. After beginning its life on the Lifetime Network, You truly took off when it was added to Netflix & now the streamer has given us the first teaser for season 2.
Season 2 takes us to Los Angeles & Joe, played by Penn Badgley, is all set to mock Los Angeles culture while seeking a new desire for his obsession. Los Angeles also brings out a new side of Joe. In the trailer, Joe enters a coffee shop and sneers at a social media influencer, a live-off-the-Earth-type hipster and an aspiring screenplay writer. His inner monologue is then cut short by a barista who asks for his name. “I’m Will,” he answers.
You‘s first season followed bookstore employee Joe as he instantly fell for, then obsessively stalked, a customer-turned-love interest named Beck. For spoiler’s sake I won’t say how that ended but season 2 adds Victoria Pedretti as aspiring chef Love Quinn, the new object of Joe’s obsession. Additional series newcomers include Charlie Barnett (Chicago Fire), Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham), Chris D’Elia (Undateable), James Scully (Heathers) and Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin).
You season 2 begins streaming on December 26.
