Weekend Box Office: Don’t Breathe Breaks Suicide Streak

After 3 weeks at number 1, Suicide Squad has been dethroned as king of the box office. In it’s place, the fantastic horror/thriller Don’t Breathe is the new number 1 movie in America.  The film grossed 26.1 million this past weekend and with critical acclaim should continue to do well at the box office. What did everyone see this past weekend?

3. Kubo and the Two Strings- $7.7 million

4. Mechanic: Resurrection- $7.5 million

5. Pete’s Dragon – $7.3 million

7. Bad Moms– $ 5.8 million

8.Jason Bourne -$5.2 million

9. Ben-Hur– $4.5 million

10. The Secret Life of Pets– $3.8 million
