War Of The Worlds TV Series In Development at MTV

War of the Worlds is coming back.

MTV is looking to collaborate with the creator of Teen Wolf, Jeff Davis for a reboot of the H.G. Wells classic, War of the Worlds. Davis and writer Andrew Cochran will adapt the story portraying the conflict between man and extraterrestrials, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

War of the Worlds has been adapted before on the big screen, small screen, radio, and various other features. The most recent film adaptation was a 2005 release directed by Steven Spielberg.
