Veronica Mars May Be Revived At Hulu

Now here is a revival I could get behind. The cult UPN/CW series, Veronica Mars, which was already revived once via a partially Kickstarter-funded 2014 feature film, is near a deal with Hulu to return for a short run. Series creator Rob Thomas and star Kristen Bell are on board as well.

The details are a bit vague and Hulu isn’t commenting but Thomas & Bell are for sure on board and it wouldn’t interfere with Bell’s other gig on The Good Place. There is also no word on which of the other co-stars would be returning.

Veronica Mars ran for two seasons on UPN starting in 2004, then aired one more year on The CW when that network launched in 2006; it was canceled at the end of the 2006-07 season. It centered on a high school student (Bell) who worked with her private-investigator dad (Enrico Colantoni) on cases.
