Venom Sequel Delays Release And Gets Official Title

It seems as though every day a new film has changed its release date. The latest to move is the sequel to one of the surprise financial hits of 2018, Venom. Sony is pushing back the Venom sequel release from fall 2020 to summer 2021. Along with the move, Sony has also announced the movie’s official title: Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

The original release date of the film was October 2nd, 2020, however, with the move from The Batman, Venom wasted no time and has moved to June 25, 2021.

Andy Serkis is directing Venom 2, which sees Tom Hardy reprise his role as Eddie Brock. As mentioned before, in 2018, Venom turned into a sleeper hit at the global box office on its way to earning $856 million.

Along with Hardy, Woody Harrelson joins the emerging franchise as the villain Carnage.
