A new trailer for Top Gun: Maverick was released this morning and Tom Cruise is once again feeling the need for speed.
The sequel picks up decades after the 1986 film and has Cruise reprising his role as pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. In the sequel, Maverick is now captain and teaching a new generation of aviators, which includes Miles Teller as Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, a pilot trainee and the son of Maverick’s late friend, Nick “Goose” Bradshaw.
The film also stars Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, and Val Kilmer and prepares to take flight on June 26, 2020. Check out the new key art for the film below:
