David Thewlis Joins Fargo For Season 3

Harry Potter’s David Thewlis has joined the cast of the third season of the FX anthology series Fargo. Thewlis will portray V.M. Vargas, a loner and true capitalist who delivers Emmit Stussy (Ewan McGregor), the Parking Lot King of Minnesota, the bad news that he has just become partners with his employers, whose business interests lay outside the law.

Season three of Noah Hawley’s Fargo has been rumored to take place in 2010, following the events of the first season. It’s unclear how or if it will tie into the events from the first year, however, none of the stars from season one will return.

Production on the third installment of Fargo is set to begin this year for a 2017 debut on FX.
